What is Coachable?

Coachable is a service that connects athletes with private coaches for sport-specific  1-on-1 coaching.

It’s 1-on-1 coaching with seasoned experts who know your sport inside and out, whatever the sport may be. Coachable takes you where you simple can’t take yourself. It’s the idea that anyone can improve with the right guidance and support. It’s the secret sauce that’s propelling athletes from the bench to the field, from beginner to expert, from college to the pros.

Coachable is drastically changing how athletes train and improve, both on and off the field. We’re helping athletes get the most out of themselves. Private coaching is the quickest way for athletes to achieve excellence in their sport. It also develops confidence, work ethic, and an appreciation for mastery that extends far beyond the realm of sports into all aspects of a person’s life.

And that’s the most satisfying victory of all.

We Can Help You!

We have qualified, sport specific coaches, who are committed to helping athletes Master Their Sport. Just enter your sport and location and we’ll provide a list of qualified private coaches in your area. Filter your coaches by price, location and reviews.

Review, Book and Pay Online

Read coaches’ profiles to learn more about their coaching experience, athletic highlights, and session plans. From the profile page, you can send a coach a message and book a coach for a specific number of training sessions.

Master your Sport

After payment, you’ll confirm the date, time, and location of your first training session
with your coach. Now comes the exciting part – you have your first session with your coach, receive feedback from your coach, leave a review for your coach, and continue training to Master Your Sport.

Can I contact a coach before I book sessions?

We understand that sometimes you need more information than we provide. If you would like to contact a coach before paying for sessions you can send a message by clicking the “Message Me” button on the coach’s profile page. Your message will be emailed to the coach, and their response will be emailed back to you.

You can respond to your messages from your message inbox on Coachable or by following the link in your email.

To ensure safety at Coachable, we monitor and review all messages to remove spam, and any other harmful information, as well as premature contact information. When sessions are paid for, you will receive each other’s full contact information including phone and email address.

How does Coachable ensure the quality of its coaches?

The quality of Coachable Coaches is of the upmost importance to us. We understand that to be the best you need to train with the best. All of our coaches have extensive experience competing and coaching at a high level in their sport.

Every Coachable Coach must pass a background screening check and meet specific qualifications and criteria within their sport before they become a coach on our site.

To ensure athletes are getting connected to only the most qualified coaches in their sports our team evaluates our coaches on an ongoing basis.

If you want more background information about a coach Coachable makes it easy for you to purchase a background check on a particular Coach by emailing the request to [email protected]

Can I refer my friends to Coachable?

Of course! We could not be happier for you to spread the word. You and your friend will also both receive $10. Visit your dashboard and click the “Refer an Athlete” tab.

When a friend uses your referral code to book for the first time on Coachable, a $10 credit will be sent to you and your friend.

BOOKING SESSIONS WITH A COACHABLE COACH

How much does it cost to book a private training session?

At Coachable Coaches set their own session rates, so pricing will vary based on the coach you choose. You can find a coach’s pricing on his or her profile page.

The only fee is a 6% service fee which is already included in the coaching session prices displayed on Coachable. This goes towards covering many of the benefits Coachable provides.

What is Coachable’s payment process for training sessions?

The entire payment process is handled securely online. There’s no need for cash to change hands.

Our convenient payment system supports all major credit cards and payment options including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal.

Select “Book Me” from the coach’s profile page and you will be prompted to enter payment information on the last page of the checkout process.

We do not accept payments via cash or cheque. Our transactions are processed online to ensure safe, secure transfer of payment to your coach.

How do I book group sessions for multiple athletes?

Absolutely! Select “Book Me” from the coach’s profile page and indicate how many athletes you would like to book sessions for.

If you would like to book sessions for 5 or more athletes it can easily be done by messaging your coach and requesting a custom package.

What is Coachables cancelation policy?

Our cancelation policy is 24 hours advance notice. If the coach doesn’t receive that 24 hour advance cancelation notice, the coach may, at his or her discretion, mark that session complete and receive payment in full.

How do I redeem my discount or gift certificate code?

Simply enter your promo code in the “Coupon Code” field on the final page of the checkout process.

Everything is automatic and the discount or gift certificate code will discount the specified amount from your package price

My booking request was not accepted, why am I seeing a charge?

If you place a booking request through the “Book Me” button, we automatically place your funds in a secure account. We only finalize the transaction once your coach accepts the booking. Your coach will have 48 hours to complete the booking request.

We will release your funds automatically if your coach declines the session or if 48 hours elapses. If this happens our team will follow up with you and recommend another qualified coach to help you Master Your Sport.

I have messaged a coach and they did not respond, what now?

We know it can be aggravating to message a coach and not receive a response right away. At Coachable we require coaches to respond to new messages within 24-48 hours. If it has been longer than 48 hours and you have had no response please let us know here [email protected] and we will make every effort to reach the coach and confirm their availability.

Because all of our coaches are qualified if your first choice is not available we always recommend to message additional coaches as well.

Also please confirm that your message was delivered to the coach by looking in your Coachable Inbox and ensure that new messages do not get lost in your spam or junk folders, adjust your email client’s filter settings to allow for incoming messages.

Of course there is also the chance that the coach is temporarily without access to the internet or email and simply cannot respond to you at the moment.

I forgot my password, how do I reset it?

No Dramas! Follow these easy steps:

  1. Go to Coachable.com.au and click “Sign In” in the top right.
  2. Click “Forgot your password?” (located under the Email field).
  3. Type in your email address, and an automatic email will be sent to that address.
  4. Open the email and click “Click Here to Reset Your Password.”
  5. Type in your new password and click “Update” – that’s it, you’re good to go!

We understand sometimes clients need to cancel their sessions. If that’s the case we’ll get it taken care of right away. Just send us an email at [email protected] or give us a call at 0448 266 718 and let us know that your client would like a refund.
