I usually provide a consultation to meet an athlete and parents if applicable. Here I can ask about their background, training and injury history etc which will enable me to tailor a plan for them. I can also assess if I am a suitable coach for them. At the first practical session I have a set assessment that I carry out to assess the current state of the athlete and identify areas of weakness and biomechanical issues. From here I introduce drills to meet the requirements of the athlete.
