Since moving to Australia nearly five years ago now i have gained a few qualifications in soccer coaching I have a skill training certificate and game training certificate aswell as grassroots I have also obtained a professional c-licence which I completed at football nsw last November. I have worked for Marrickville red devils football academy the last two years now part time coaching the u12 and u13 academy teams aswell as coaching the u11 girls and the u6 and u7s. I also frequently do birthday party personal training and small group training aswell as holiday camps and school fun days. I recently went to Spain on a football trip with the academy and spent 7 days at valencia cf gaining experience in coaching also I was at real Madrid for 5 days and the Spanish national football headquarters for 7 days where I had hands on experience learning from the beat in the business.
I represented my town-barrow-in- Furness and county- Cumbria at junior levels. I played for Barrow afc academy from the age of 11 till I was 16 then I played reserves hoping to break into first team when I dislocated my left knee and tore my acl which pretty much ended my playing days.
My sessions always start with a warm up consisting of light stretches for 5 minutes maximum then straight into ball work my personal sessions are designed specifically to your position and where you and I feel you need to improve. I mainly like to focus on improving technique and game awareness. Each session has a constant theme based around the area we are targeting for that session for example first touch and ball distribution in final third.
