kids, teenagers, adults
I personally played as defender, but in coaching I’m able to teach any position on the field.
More About Me
I worked as a U15 and U16 in German club football. The level was relatively high as the club is known for its good youth teams (it is kind of a football academy). I also play football myself for more than 16 years now. I played semi-professional in Germany before I went to the US on a football (soccer) scholarship for four years (2012-2016). During my time there I also coached several youth teams.
Like mentioned before, I played semi-professional in Germany and the collegiate level in the US. During my time there, our team won two conference championships as well as came in as national runner-up.
My general rule in coaching is that all excercises should include a ball. This not only increases the technical abilities but also the fun for the kids. Further, I start a session with a little warm-up rondo, before moving into technical/tactical exercises, including pass, shoot and 1v1 (offensive and defensive) drills. At the end of each session I try to always include a game, which is fun for the players and allows me as the coach to see if the kids can include what was done in the exercises before.
